Make Westfield Parly 2 a “place of destination” and not just a shopping place. This is the intention of the director, Pauline Arion, who arrived in March at the head of the shopping center. And for that, he has no shortage of projects.

Sartbucks, DS Cafe, Indian Cafe…

By Christmas, new signs will be put up, after the others have left (usually due to the end of the lease). So Starbucks, installed in BHV, now has a commercial unit in its own right, with an interior terrace. In the catering sector, DS Café will also open its doors soon, as will Yam Yam (Korean restaurant) and Indian Café.

“A large catering area will see the light of day, confirms Pauline Arion, with the aim of creating synergy with the nearby cinema. Some brands thus have a terrace overlooking the outside , near the cinema.

Arabian Oud and Victoria’s Secret

On the shopping side, Obi Obi recently opened its doors as a pop-up store. Also note the installation of Cake kitchen, kitchen designer, and K-way.

Soon, the Arabian Oud (perfumes) brand will be set up, as well Victoria’s Secret (in the former Max Mara location) and a Joyful Café are expected to open in November. A concept that is gradually spreading in France where the disabled provide services.

Services and entertainment

Pauline Arion also thinks about the future. The Academy of Versailles, which occupied the offices upstairs, has left… So the area can accommodate new activities, not necessarily shops but a “service and entertainment area”.

Energy crisis: what actions?

To adapt to the increase in bills and the need to reduce its consumption, the center will regulate its temperature, 17 degrees instead of 19. As with air conditioning, the same thing: 26 degrees instead of 24 .
It is known that when the temperature outside is lower than inside, the air conditioning does not start but the doors are open. “When you open the doors, it’s because the air conditioning isn’t there yet,” explained the director. The hot water in the sanitary facilities is heated by solar panels. We’ll see if we can install it. We are also calling for tenders for waste sorting, Pauline Arion listed. To make Westfield Parly 2 a “destination”, the management of the center is changing. In the summer, a terrace is set up (Saint-Michel entrance), with sofa, picnic table and playground for children, intended for customers “but also for the staff of the center”.

An important point for the director: that the entrepreneurs feel good. This terrace can host new events as part of the year-end celebration.

The dating operation at work will be renewed on October 4, after the success of the first edition. This time, nearly 40 brands are present throughout the day (in March, 250 candidates were received). Soon, lockers that allow customers to drop off their coats, motorcycle helmets or bags will be available. “We offer as many services as possible. »

Open on Sundays

Finally, note that from November 13, Westfield Parly 2 will be open every Sunday until the end of January.
