Diplomatic mission. Author Tom Bower has just released a new book about the complex dynamics that exist between certain members of the royal family, including brothers Harry and William and their respective wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. The title of the book itself is already known because it is titled Revenge: “Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors” or simply translated: “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors”. In this book, the investigative journalist who published the unauthorized biographies of Richard Branson or Tony Blair points out that The rift between Prince William and Prince Harry runs deeper than the brothers let on.
According to Tom Bower, an attempt was made by Prince Harry to improve the situation a little, if not between two brothers, at least between their wives. The author argued that as Prince Harry and Meghan prepared to go on an official tour of Australia and New Zealand, the Duke of Sussex allegedly asked his brother to encourage Kate Middleton to be “more friendly with his wife“. And to add: “The members of the royal family, Harry said, did not show him enough support, respect and friendship. According to Harry, Meghan should be valued like their mother”. In his book, Tom Bower says that Prince Harry wants to consider his wife same respect and affection as Lady Diana, his mother.
Kate reportedly sent flowers to Meghan to apologize
Despite this claim, the book states that “William’s response was not sympathetic. “Beyond the palace walls, few people know the discord between the brothers”. Relations within the Windsors have been notoriously strained in recent years., especially after the broadcast of the interview of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle with Oprah Winfrey. During this famous interview, Meghan recalled a particularly tense episode with her sister-in-law where Kate made her cry, although the latter admitted that the opposite situation happened. The American actress has already said ithe has forgiven Kate who sent her a bunch of flowers to make up for it. As for the true version of this incident, it will probably never be known…
