In the first half of 2022, the product inspection and certification specialist announced adjusted net income of 248.6 million euros, up 15.8% (+ 10.5% at constant exchange rates). Corresponding adjusted earnings per share were €0.55 compared to €0.48, an increase of 15.2% (+9.9% at constant exchange rates). Revenue also reached 2.69 billion euros, which increased by 11.4% (6.9% at constant exchange rates).

Capgemini raised its growth target to 2022, which investors considered cautious after a strong first quarter. The consulting and IT services group is now targeting growth at constant exchange rates between 14% and 15%, instead of +8% to +10%. The group’s other targets for 2022 remain unchanged. It counts an operating margin of between 12.9% and 13.1%, and a generation of organic free cash flow of more than 1.7 billion euros.

Group specializing in underground exploration CGG posted a group net profit of 16 million dollars in the second quarter of 2022 against a loss of 51 million dollars last year. Its revenues rose 33% to $228 million. Business segment EBITDA (Geoscience, Earth & Data, Sensing & Monitoring) was $126 million ($122 million adjusted), a higher margin of 52% due to a favorable revenue mix compared to 27% a year ago.

L’Oréal recorded a net income group share of 3.22 billion euros in the first half compared to 2.36 billion euros in the first half of 2021. The operating income of the cosmetics group increased by 25 .3% to 3.75 billion euros, and accounted for 20.4 % of sales, up 70 basis points. The turnover reached 18.36 billion euros, representing a growth of 20.9%, of which 13.5% was as desired.
