Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are devastated. The son of one of their friends died suddenly when he was only 9 years old. Kelly McKee Zajfen announced the death of little George on her Instagram account. “My beautiful boy. My world is broken into a million pieces. I have little ability to breathe. Walk. Move. Sit. Support. You are the light of my life. Your smile makes the room brighter you are shining and your heart is the most perfect and the sweetest”, the former model and businesswoman wrote in the caption of the photo of her son being carried by her twin sister. And to add: “You left this Earth and left many people who loved you. I don’t know how I can continue. How I can function. How can I be light and have happiness again, but I will try. Try hard well for your beautiful twin girls”.

I can’t do this to you.” An anonymous family friend told the Daily Mail that George had heart problems that the family knew about. The nine-year-old boy was found “no reaction” in the family home. For now, the cause of his death remains a mystery. “They are still waiting for the autopsy results”, said the source. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are family friends, donated $5,000 to a fundraiser set up in George’s honor under the names of their children, Archie and Lilibet, to raise money to be donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

To date, $58,850 has been raised thanks to the generosity of over 400 participants. Meghan Markle reportedly met Kelly McKee Zajfen through her ex-husband Trevor Engelson. The two friends stay connected through her Alliance of Moms, a community in which actresses Kristen Bell and JoAnna Garcia Swisher are also involved.
