“Black Panther”, “Avengers”, series… Disney announcements in round 5 of Comic-Con

A touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Director Ryan Coogler, on stage in San Diego with a troupe of African percussionists and dancerspaid a touching tribute to the star of the first film, the “fire, big Chadwick Boseman”.

The actor died of cancer in 2020 and his role was not repeated by another actor in the new film. “I promise you I can feel his hand on me right now,” Coogler said. “Chad is no longer with us physically but his spirit, his passion, his wisdom, his pride in his culture and the impact he had on this industry will be felt forever,” he said.

Disney Plus series Rain

Other movies announced by Disney on Saturday include Thunderstorms and Fantastic Fourexpected in 2024. Kevin Feige also announced that Blade ready in November 2023 and that the new title Captain America: New World Order will arrive in May 2024.
